Dec 1
Good morning guys:
My name is Joe Arms. I am Commander of American Legion Post 104 in Pinellas Park, Fla & also
a member of The American Legion Riders. I served aboard the USS John King DDG 3 from 1968-72. They don't want us
old men back in uniform so we do what we can on the home front to keep you men & women in the public eye. Thank
you for your service to our country. Until your return, we will keep the Harleys warmed up & the brews on ice.
Oct 24
To All Our Guys Over There.
We are so happy to hear you will be home before long so be extra careful and keep your heads down.
Just to be united with your loved ones and families who have been praying for your safety and return will make my prayers
for all of you finally answered.
We are so proud of each and everyone of you and know how much we care. We think of what you are doing
for us and our country and never can thank you enough. No one will ever know but yourselves what you have gone through
for all of us back home but know how much we do appreciate and will never forget how you put your lives on the line for us.
Stay safe and out of harm's way and know you will be home on US soil soon. Dorothy and Joe MacVittie
(Nathan's grandparents)
Sept 11
To all the guys,
Hi, Grandma MacVittie from Syracuse, New York (Nathan's Grandma) to let all of our guys over there know
you were so much on my mind today as our country observed the sixth year of the attack by terrorists on the World Trade Center
in New York City on September 11. 2001.
Never have we felt safe since that day as we had before never knowing of another attack coming at any time,
but with all of you over there in Iraq it helps so much knowing how you care about all of us with putting each and every one
of your lives on the line for all of us Americans back home every day and night.
Just a simple thank you does not begin to express our gratitude and heartfelt love and affection for so
many of you who have left your loved ones in this country to fight against the enemy who do not understand our way of life
and freedom or they would not be fighting against each other and ending in so many lives being taken.
I pray this fighting will come to an end before much more time passes and more of our servicemen become
killed or casualties. Keep safe and take care of each other and know we are behind all of you 100%. Know you are in
our prayers daily and I ask God to bring you home safely to your families and loved ones.
Dorothy and Joe MacVittie

To Our Guys Over There--
Hi, this is Grandma MacVittie writing to you just to let you know how much I think of each and everyone
of you over there on the front lines fighting so all of us back home can feel safe and free every day that we wake up and
go to sleep at night.
Please know that Nathan is very frustrated that he is back in the US and cannot be with his brothers and
I know he must think of all of you guys all the time and knows what you are going through when he was over there with you.
I continue to pray for each and everyone of you nightly along with prayers for all of our servicemen and
women stationed around the world that this war will be over and all of you can come home to your families and loved one.We
will continue to stand behind you every day and night until your mission is completed and the people in Iraq can feel much
more at peace than they have felt for years.
God Bless all of you and know that we care and send each one of you a hug. Stay safe and take care
of each other.
Dorothy and Joe MacVittie (Nathan's Grandparents)
July 2
To all the guys,
As July 4th, 2007 approaches all of us in the USA will be celebrating our country's birthday and the independence
all of you soldiers in 3rd platoon put your lives on the line for each and every one of us every day. Just a (Thank You )
does not seem enough but know in our hearts we hold each one of you close as though you belonged to us.
You have been on my mind so much lately as we see so many recent pictures from Iraq of what is going on
there (something none of us over here could possibly imagine). I am so proud I live in a country where we do not have
to live like the people in Iraq with constant loss of family and loved ones all of the time and the fear of what will happen
next.
I pray that before too long the government in Iraq will be able to take over their country and all of you
can come home for good to your loved ones and families. Also I pray that all of our servicemen who have been KIA did not die
in vain and that your mission will be successful in memory of them.
Know my husband and I care deeply about our country and all of you and even though we probably will never
meet any one you we thank you for all you are doing for us.God Bless all of you and keep safe and out of harm's way.
Dorothy and Joe MacVittie (Nathan's Grandparents)
June 5
TO ALL OUR GUYS OVER THERE--
I just wanted all of you brother's in Nathan's platoon who are still over there in Iraq fighting for all
of us back here in the USA how very proud we are of each and everyone of you and can never thank or praise you enough. for
what you are doing for all of us back home. Even though Nathan is presently back home at Ft. Hood his family knows he
would rather be back with his brothers over there doing what he was trained to before he was deployed.
My thoughts were with each and everyone of you on Memorial Day when we honor all veterans who gave their
lives in the line of duty from the previous wars. Over time Memorial Day has become to so many just a day off from work
for a picnic or barbecue and not the true meaning of Memorial Day. My husband ( a WWII Navy Vet) and I were brought
up in a different generation where our flag and respect for our country meant so much more than we see today and our country
needs to get back on track and appreciate young men like all of you putting your lives on the line each and every day so that
all of us in our country can enjoy the freedom we have today.
I pray each night for each and everyone of you and all of our servicemen and women in all the branches of
the military that God will bring you home safely to your families and loved ones.
God Bless all of you and know that we care about you.

To all the guys,
Well, I told you last time to keep your eye on DC. We were there in numbers that cannot be ignored. Former
troopers and Marines in wheel chairs, walking with canes, and runing like it was PT time again. And believe me when I tell
you the moonbats took notice. Even though the media has tries to down play our efforts to support you guys, the truth is coming
out ALL over the net.
So feel secure that you all are loved, and supported here at home. Your efforts are NOT in vaine. And I
can't swear to it, but I think SOME folks on the "HILL" got the message. "Support the troops, let them gaine the Victory,
OR learn to spell "RESUME."

To the Cummings Family, PFC Griffith, SGT Nunn, SPC DeNeutte, and all the guys,
I read with great sadness that PFC Branden Cummings was killed in Iraq. My nephew, SSGT Daniel Morris,
was also killed in November. Please extend my condolences to his family. My heart still aches for Daniel and our
family painfully knows what this family is going through right now.
Thank you all for putting your lives on the line each day so that we can have the freedoms we enjoy each
day! I am proud of each of you and you are always in my prayers. I know that Daniel believed in God, Family and
Country above all else and that he is now with our Lord. He was very proud of the unit he served with.
Also, please let the 3 soldiers that were with Daniel when he died know that they too are in my prayers.
I hope that they continue to heal.
May God Bless and keep each of you safe and home soon with your family and friends!

PLease know that my arms, and the arms of my entire family, are around every one of you that are protecting
us here!!! Thank you so very, very much!! Our family wants you to know that all you do for us in the dangerous theatres
of your tours of duty is very much appreciated. We have 3 children, 7 granddaughters and 1 grandson...ages 16 to 6, and we
understand the need for America to make inroads in this war to protect our interests and establish middle eastern stability.
Will you contact me in Northern California so that if you live here, and when you return, our family can

My Combat Brothers and Sisters,
I want you to keep your eyes on Washington DC on 17 Mar 07. History will mark that date as the beginning
of the second American Revolution. Because on that day hundreds of thousands of "True Americans" will be standing around the
WWII, Korean War and the Vietnam War memorials to protect those symbols of service and sacrifice made by men and women just
like you.
A Gathering of Eagles will be sending a message to those who would have you tuck tail and run before the
mission is completed, making your sacrifices null and void. We are saying NO MORE, Enough is ENOUGH. We know you are covering
each others back over there, we want you to know in no uncertain terms that WE HAVE YOUR BACKS here at home. Many of us Vietnam
vets were spit on when we came home, We are telling those who do these things that from 17 Mar 07 on, ANYONE caught doing
that to our men and women in unifrom WILL be fed a CURB SANDWHICH!
God Bless You All

To all the guys,
As a vet (’64-’68) I understand the sense of duty and sacrifice you and your families go thru,
I just found out that my son-in-law’s brother will be shipping to Iraq in March, I am both proud and worried for his
safety. In my time we didn’t get much respect from our citizens, I hope your return will be filled with joy that many
of us did not get. We will not forget you or leave you to fend for yourselves, our nation and freedom ride on
the backs of so few that give so much.
God bless you one and all

To All The Guys,
I've been visiting this web site for a while, but just now got up the nerve to write to all of you when
I heard about Branden's death. Daniel Morris was like a son to my husband and me, and we met Branden when he came to
church with Daniel in Killeen. I can hardly believe it's three months ago today those two men in Class A's knocked on
our door and we learned of Daniel's death, and now our sorrow is multiplied. I never imagined things would turn
out like they have for all of us, but the Lord knows the way we take, and your work over there is not in vain. You are
all our heroes because you are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for someone else's freedom. "For scarcely for
a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love
toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
God's been my comfort through these trying times and I pray He will be your comfort too, especially to you,
Danielle. We are praying for you guys over there and the rest of your loved ones back home. I've given
up trying to understand why things have turned out this way, but one thing I do know is that God *IS* in control and we can
still put our lives in His Hands.
Thank you for all you do and for all you sacrifice. You are our heroes.

To all Our Guys Over There--
I am Nathan's Grandma from Syracuse, New York (where all the snow is now) and both my husband (who is a
WWII vet) and myself want to send all of you our deepest sympathy upon hearing about Branden Cummings being killed in action.
We were very saddened as we were about Sgt. Morris's being killed in November and we want all of you to know how we are praying
harder and harder that there will be no more of our guys being killed.
War is hell as you know and our hearts go out to each and every one of you with what you are going through
at this time. We are praying that God will protect all of you day and night and know there are so many Americans that
are behind you for laying down your lives every day for us back home that we may enjoy the freedom that so many of our men
and women have given their lives for in past wars.
It is so sad to know there are so many Americans that just take things for granted that we enjoy every
day and do not appreciate all the sacrifices our military men and women make for them every day and night and long to be home
with their loved ones instead of in a foreign country for us.
My husband was only 17 when he joined the USNAVY right out of high school and he loves his country and his
flag. We have a big flag pole and fly Old Glory every day. He served in the South Pacific during WWII and saw
plenty of action and is very proud to be an American.
God Bless all of you and bring you home safely to your loved ones who are waiting for you.
Dorothy and Joe MacVittie

To All The Guys,
We would like to send our sincere thanks to all of you serving America in the armed forces. It is
sad to hear we lost another soldier....PFC Cummings. We also live in Florida and our heart goes out to his family and
loved ones and to all the soldiers that have been lost. But please remember all of those serving now that no matter
what you hear or read that is negative about the war....please know that there are many that appreciate and respect you all
though you may never hear of it. Our prayers go out to you all. Stay safe... our son has enlisted and is
training Signal in Ft. Gordon and will most likely end up over where you are. He is our son but remember all of you
are like our sons and daughters...

Everyone,
This has been such a hard time for me to comprehend, but ive been gathering thoughts and so much. I'm going
minute by minute, day by day. Things right now have been tough but we are all going to get through this. I thank you all for
helping me soooo much! cause without all of the support everyone has given me, and my family as well as brandens family we
all are so proud and thankful for everything!
Branden died a hero! He died doing what he loves! He is great-hearted, and is such a great man! he may be
so young, but he had a great head on his shoulders. He'd give a helping hand to anyone in need! Branden is such a great guy!
I want to thank you all again, for all the support that everyone has given. Please try to keep your chins held high, and think
of what Branden would say! He loves all of you so much, i know that!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL! Your all in my thoughts and prayers, but for now i have to go!
I LOVE BRANDEN TONS NEVER FORGET IT!!
~THANK YOU~

To all the guys,
Hello, my name is Bill and my wife Pia and I have been the ones mailing
a lot of the packages to you. I just happen to be the one that suggested adopting the Platoon. The reason is to
show that we all appreciate what you are doing for us back home and that you are thought of every day. I am very proud
of our club that agreed to adopt you; there was not one single person who disagreed with this suggestion.
I just would like to tell all of you that your sacrifice is not forgotten.
You are keeping us safe and doing a lot for the Iraqi people.
Thank you for serving.

Dear Nathan,
Dear Nathan, I didn't get to write to you over the weekend so I thought I would drop you a line and
let your Mom forward it to you. It was so good hearing your voice over the phone when you were home and the articles in the
Fulton Sun were great. What a celebrity you are getting to be and the one article in the paper where you were being interviewed
gave us a lot of a better idea of what you are doing over there. Your Mom sent us the pictures from Bek's of the party
they had for you and it looked like a good time was had by everyone. We thought about you on your trip back to Iraq and can't
wait for you to come home for good.
We will be sending you another box soon when I find out from your Mom just what you need at present. Or
you can email us and give us some ideas.
We love you Nathan and our prayers are continuing for you and all of your platoon and know with everyone's
prayers all of you will return to your loved ones before too much longer. Keep safe and take care of each other.
Love, Grandma and Grandpa

Greetings
from Washington
State,
I just wanted to send you
greetings from CPL David Butcher's neck of the woods.
And, woods is what we've got. As I look at the pictures on your website,
the lack of GREEN is evident. Being so close to the holidays I'm sure you miss
the decorations that represent this season.
I wish I could package those
smells, sights and sounds to all of you. I pray for your safe return home and
days of peace amongst the chaos.
David, you should receive
a package soon from me. It's got a little bit of the holidays, some whimsy and
some goodies. Please be safe and take care.
I love being able to see what you are doing and seeing the pictures keeps you ever more present in my heart. Would love to see more of you, David, in the platoon's group pictures.
Much love and God Bless
All of You.

To all who
worked with Daniel,
I am so touched to have found
your website and see all the wonderful comments that are made. It is nice to put faces with names. I have been so worried
about the 2 soldiers who were injured in the IED incident with Daniel. I have prayed and will continue to pray for your healing.
I constantly think about what you are going through and everyday realizing more and more of how difficult it must be. You
are all Hero’s in my book and please let me know how you are doing.

To all of
you,
My name is Pat Comkowycz and I
am PFC Jeff Comkowycz's mom. He told me about this web page so I could see all of his fellow soldiers. As a parent of a soldier,
I have felt so disconnected from my son and all of you over in Iraq.
Now that Jeff is in the States, I want you to know that I have not forgotten all of you. I worry about all of you constantly
and keep you in my prayers.
The tribute to Staff Sgt. Morris
looked honorable and quite emotional. Although I never met the man, I can see through your eyes that he was a top-notch soldier
and a highly respected, awesome individual.
Thank you for what you do every
day. The people of the United States are rallying behind you,
sending love and prayers. So many of them want to help you guys out in any way
but just don't know what to do. Let me know if there is anything I (and they) can do.
I am often asked how to send packages to the troops and what they need. If there is anything (and I mean "anything")
that I can do or send to you, please, please let me know. My husband and I both work at public schools as teachers and we
both have huge support groups to help us get anything you guys want or need.
God bless you all and thank you
for all that you did for Jeff (Comchek) while he was part of your family.
Much love,
Pat Comkowycz

About Eugene
I saw Eugene
last night I was really excited to him. He is now at Ft. Hood
after very long trip to get here due to winter storms on the East Coast.
Eugene
looks good. They have not put his arm in a cast yet and they said his leg wounds would just take time to heal. He is good
spirits glad to be back in Texas already asking for me to bring him cookie and
music.
I saw Carver last night also and
he is good spirits
We do not have an address yet
so I have been having people send stuff to my address and I will deliver it him.
Thanks Julie
Note: We do not put mailing addresses on this site. If anyone would like a mailing address for SPC DeNeutte, you may use the contact us link and I will send it to you. - Debra

To Sgt Owen
Stonelake
Owen, I am so proud of you! It's
hard to put in to words what I am feeling or what I am thinking... But I will try. (NO TEARS EITHER) When sitting at home,
all I feel that I can do is pray for you and the rest of your guys. There probably isn't anything greater than having someone
ask God to keep you safe. When praying for someone, you are literally being lifted up to God. That person is asking God to
watch THIS person, keep them safe and under God's watchful, loving eye. What an amazing thought! But yet, somehow, it doesn't
feel like enough! You and your guys are doing such an amazing thing! So monumental and praying feels like such a small token
for what you are doing. So thank you! I hope that you know how special you are to me. I know i don't write very often or get
to talk to you on the phone much... but I want you to know that I think of you every single day! No matter what goes on in
my little life, you are always at the forefront of my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself! With lots of love!!
Your sister, Gina
Nov 30
Hey All,
Not sure if it really matters
for you to hear from a college girl way in the sticks of Minnesota.. but I've
been hearing all about you through Missy, Owen's girl, who is going to school with me. She claims she's too shy to say anything
on here-riiight Owen?? Request from Mis-someone please go hug Owen. But yeah, I'm not an English major so I can't think of
the right way to say what I want. I am thinking of you and of your loss. It can't be easy to continue on with your daily duties
when you are grieving. Remember you each have two shoulders, they still work even if they're soaked with eachothers' tears
so go ahead and use them.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
-- You are remembered.
May God hold you in the palm of
his hand-Lisa

To All the
Men,
I may not be as articulate as
some of the other notes posted, but we are so very proud of each and every one of you.
My husband and I come from families who have a long history of serving in the military.
My husband's great-great (maybe even another great) grandfather served in the entire Civil War. My husband got interested in genealogy because of the military aspect and has traced everyone in
his family. His father was in the Merchant Marines as a very young man, I believe
17 years old. He had one uncle who served in the Battle
of the Bulge, and many more throughout the family. My family also served in World
War I and World War II (Navy and Army infantry).
Anyway, we deeply appreciate
what you're doing for our country, you can always be proud of that. For those
of you who are married, I can relate to the hardship it places on you and your family.
My husband and I were married right out of high school. He went to college
and upon graduating joined the Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. I am so proud of him. He is a very patriotic
man. We will be praying for all of you and think of all of you often and your
safe return.
Maureen (and Drew).

To All The
Men,
I send this letter to all of you
serving our country who will be away from your family and loved ones for such long periods of time. I have one son-in-law who just returned this month from his second 18 month tour in Iraq who is also in
the army and my other son-in-law who is in the AF will be leaving in Dec for somewhere over there. I am so proud of them and you all.
My husband, brothers, and father-in-law
all served and defended our country. I don’t think there are any words
to truly express how proud I and my husband are of the men and women who have chosen to defend our country.
We will keep you all incur prayers
daily. I have a list that hangs on the wall next to my bed with a list of prayer
requests and I am changing that list tonight and placing your unit at the top of the list!
I also want to tell the person or persons responsible for setting up this web site, thank you. I have often wondered how I could reach out to other soldiers overseas and didn’t know how to go
about it. This is wonderful.
If any of you wish to write to
me or need anything that I can send over to you to make your tour a little easier please feel free to contact me either by
email or my home address. My husband is a minister to the bikers as well as a
(new) truck driver so we are on the road a lot so the easiest way to contact me is by e-mail.
We were full time RV-ers for the past 4 years and he has just recently gone back to work to pay off some bills so that
we can get back out there on the road attending the motorcycle rallies telling others about Christ.
God bless you each and every one. I pray for God’s hedge of protection around each of you night and day. God Bless. ~Melinda Bear Arizona
Note: It is against our policy to publish addresses on this site. Any soldier wanting Melinda’s email address can email through the site and I will give it to you.

Dear Brad
Griffith,
My name is Cindy Schulze and I
am from your hometown. Your Grandfather, (big Doug) shared your unit's website
with me. The mom who put this together for you guys is really great! If you attended Davis High, you might know my son. My son
is Matt Schulze. He is a year younger than you and he is a Marine. He just returned from his second tour in Iraq
the end of August. Matt is stationed in the San Diego
area. You will be surprised to know that there are several military families
here in town. I have been gathering a list of families who have kids in the Military
and so far I have over 35 families and counting. If you grew up here you probably
know several of them.
Doug tells me you are just now
arriving in Iraq. I
wish you the very best. I know it will be hard for you, but remember we at home
are praying for your safety and are so very proud of you. Without our Military
we would not be the great country that we are.
Take care of yourself and stay
safe,
Sincerely,
Cindy Schulze

Hey baby,
Well you have been gone from R&R for 3 days now and I am missing you like crazy! I will be soooo
glad when this deployment is over. Me and the kids need you more than ever. It gets really crazy and hard around
here without your help. I hope you are doing okay. I am so glad you made it back safely. Having you here for the
birth of our son was so wonderful. I am so thankful that you were able to be here. I am so blessed you to have
a husband like you. The girls miss you like crazy. They walk around saying, "DaDa" all the time. It's so
sweet but yet it cuts me like a knife everytime. I hate that you are going to miss alot of Lance's 1st year of life
but hopefully this will all be over soon. I am praying for you and the guys and I hope each of you stay safe the rest
of the tour. I love you baby and please stay safe and keep your head down.

Was grand seeing more pictures on the site. Love seeing you, too, Dave.
It's finally Spring here and the weather here in Washington has actually been nice. Everything is
in bloom causing most sinus issues.
Dave, your cousin Brenner will be going to Springfield, Massachusetts on April 19th to the National Hoop
Shoot Contest. He represents the Northwest Region (Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho) 10-11 year olds. Out
of over 3 million boys and girls, he's one of 72 competing in the Nationals. If he wins, he'll be in the Basketball
Hall of Fame.
I miss you and pray for your safety and that of your fellow platoon. Hope you all come home soon.

some letters to a few of you, and through this stuggle ive relised how great and powerful you all are. We started at 34 soldiers
in 3rd platoon, now were down to 32. I dont want this to stop you from doing your job guys! im always going to be your little
sister, and im always going to be here if you need someone to talk to! i appreciate everything yall have done for me, but
this time i have to show you that i aprrecitate what you do for everyone! You all have just lost the love of my life,
your brother in arms... but dont stop smiling. I told charlie the way to make your day brighter is to put a smile on
your face and keep your chin held high.. god gave us a challenge, and if he didnt think we could over come this challenge
he wouldnt have given it to us. You are all true heros in my eyes. Doing what you do, fighting for our freedom thats a hell
of a job i couldnt do, thats why im so PROUD of each of you! I pray at night for you all, and i bless the fact that ive gotten
the chance to know each of you! Sometimes its not the easiest days, and i just start to cry, but i want you to know something,
during that moment of tears branden is right beside me for a shoulder to lean on! You are all heros in my book no matter what
anyone says! you give me strenghth to become a better person. Do your best in everything you do! God bless everyone of you
soldiers for being here for me and the family, but god bless the fact that your a soldier. Thank you so much for all your
hard work! Thank you just dont describe how thankful i really am! but seriously without yall i couldnt have made it, and without
all the support. I thank you all for everything. Keep praying at night, and bless what you have okay! i love you all like
my brothers and never forget it guys! You are all really a TRUE AMERICAN HERO! GOD BLESS YOU!
Forever your baby sister, ~Danielle Cummings~

GREAT SACRIFICE.

not survive and we are forever in debt for that.

To all the guys with Appreciation and Gratitude
The day does not pass without a thought of your service and sacrifice. Regardless of how shrill the political
debate becomes never, never doubt that a solid majority of your countrymen are aware of what you do and why you do it.
The fight you are in will not end when you are triumphant in Afghanistan or Iraq but will shift to some
other theatre; this is a long war and we must understand that bleak fact. Your strength of arms however is made effective
by your resolution to see the task through to completion.
Your fellow citizens rely on you to be mentally tough especially when the "chattering classes" back home
are vicious in their critique of the war. I for one sleep soundly because you don't and, with sincere gratitude, thank you.

We've heard all we want to hear from the anti-war, anti-everything America crowd........they will be challenged

To all the guys,
I want to thank all of you who serve our country as members of the US military. I appreciate your
conviction and dedication to duty. Many of our elected leaders don't have a clue about the impact of their actions.
The more they talk the more it is clear that they are blindly playing politics without any regard for the impact of their
actions. You people deserve our utmost respect. I, for one, applaud you. Our prayers are with you and I hope someday,
people will recognize the good work you do every day.

Hello brave and courageous soldiers,
I thank you for your wonderful sacrifice and service. I am 100% behind you and your mission. I see how
hard it is to carry out your mission in Iraq. You are battling terrorists and insurgents over there and politicians,
media, liberals, etc. back here in the U.S.
Please know there are millions of the silent majority who know you are building a foundation for good
people in Iraq. No one wants war and conflict, but the change coming to the people there is long over due.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Lynn Christensen
Feb 27
To all the guys,
Enough can't be said about you who serve our country as members of the US military. I honor you, but more
importantly I appreciate your conviction and respect you more than anybody. Our elected leaders don't have half the conviction
and strength of the most diminutive grunt, and those who have served and wholehearted support you, I support and applaud them.
Others who claim to support you yet with every word from their mouths tear down the commander-in-chief and proclaim we've
lost the war, I rebuke them harshly. I'd like one of these spineless twits to make these statements in the presence of a soldier.
Though respect and decorum would prohibit a response, I'm sure the jaded pigs would think twice before slandering our military.
I won't stand for anybody attacking our troops or bad-mouthing the US. You people deserve our utmost respect. I, for one,
applaud you.
God Bless You.

Owen and Fellow Soldiers,
Hey, Owen, all you amazing and extremely courageous souls in Iraq! Thank you so much from the bottom of
my heart for the incredible service you are doing ME!! My freedom!! I mean this next question from the depths of my abilities,
what can I do for you? I will continue to pray for all of you, I will continue to ask for prayers from complete strangers
for all of you, and I will continue to uphold this front and stand up for your freedoms and rights and RESPECT!!
On the wake of the news of Pvt Cummings death, we all grieve for his family, his friends, his fiance, and
all of his brothers in arms!! You are ALL in our prayers, we call upon God to deliver you all from harm, to protect you all
from all of the enemies ways and wiles and attempts. We call upon God's Righteous Anger and Awesome Power to free those fighting
the good fight and seeking to make this world a better place! Only God knows the ends of this war, and only He can give success,
take it away to learn a lesson in humility or sacrifice, and only He knows the outcomes of each and every one of you! He loves
you and wants your support!! We all support you, but we are here on earth to support Him!! By standing up for God's ways,
God will stand up for yours!! In the wake of so much agony, can any of us say we are ready? Its so easy to turn away from
God and Jesus Christ, a forgiveness of every evil done, but so much harder to turn to Him. Christ is so much bigger than any
force on, above or below the earth. So quit tellling God how big your storm is, how big your trial is! Instead, tell
your storm, your trial, how BIG your God IS!!!!
May God bless you all and keep you safe. Thank you again for your service!!

To All the Guys,
Hi, my name is Amy Morris, Daniel's mom. I really don't know what to write except to let you
know how proud I am of all our heroes. Even though I lost Daniel, I know that he firmly stood for this cause and he always
said that if he died, then he died doing what he loved. Daniel was a very strong Christian and I don't just say that because
I'm his mom. Everyone says that he carried his Bible on every mission. If there is anything I can do to help our
soldiers please let me know.
Thanks Amy

Dear Nathan,
Grandpa and
I were so happy to hear from your Mom that you would be coming home for two weeks on R&R and wished we lived closer to
Missouri and that we could see you when you arrive. We will call you when we find out exactly when you will arrive so we can
talk to you.
Thanks so much for the Christmas card and nice note you wrote to us--it meant a lot and to think you are over
there fighting for all of us back home and you took the time to write us a card. God
Bless You Nathan. I sent a Christmas Card to Eugene down In Texas as since he
was wounded and sent back to the States I knew he wouldn't receive the card we sent him to Iraq. It is good to hear he is
doing better and hopefully in time things will look up for him.
Thank all our guys for what they are doing for us Americans and we pray
each night for all of them and their safe return to their families.

Hey
guys!!
well today was the first
time ive seen Denuette since the guys left to iraq. He is
in good spirts. I cried a little, but we had a good talk! we talked about branden, and about what happend. I did see his wounds
and he is doing okay! they arent as bad as i thought people made it sound! but he is doing good! they reconstructed his face,
i felt the indentions of when they pulled the stuff out. He is doing really good
tho. i just got home, i was there for like an hour and a half, just talkin. he is now takin a nap. He is doing really good
tho! He asked me about sgt. Morris, and Sgt. Nunn and how griff and caudle were holding up. and i told him as much as i know.
He got that christmas card from me.. and something that really made me question is when he asked me why was i visiting him.
I said you dont want me to? and he said no.. that he was so mean to me that i was the least person he expected to come and
see him. he told me sorry and stuff and that he regrets whats been said that he said about me. he told me ive grown up alot
since we all first me. and i said no, im still the same. He said, no ive really turned into a great young lady. that made
me tear up. i told him about how me and branden just had our 8 month anniversary and he said wow its been that long already.
I was like yea...
He said that him and branden
had a good 45 mintue talk the day before this all happend. He questioned me alot about the guys as well as i questioned him
about how it happend, and what was he thinkin and stuff! he is doing good tho really!!
His leg looks good tho,
i mean its a good chunk that was taken out, but nothing major. its healing well that is! he will be going to rehab in a couple
of weeks. he said that he misses you all and hopes that all is doing good for you! he said he wants to come back to work but
that all depends on how long it takes for his body to work right. He is doing good tho.. which im really glad about! He had
me shed a few tears thats not what i wanted to happen, nobody did thats for sure. He is doing good tho, his arm is numb, and
he is now starting to get feeling back in it. its swollen, his elbow was shattered and its all back in place now. He said
he is sore, but doing better than yesterday. I told him he has to keep his head up! Me and Denuette have had some bumpy roads
together, but he is doing well and im glad i got the chance to see him! he is keepin his head in the game. if you guys could
please send me an email for denuette on myspace or something i will be sure to print it and give it to him! i know that would
keep a smile! Well thats it for now! thanks guys so much! TTYL~ Danielle Cummings

drummer of the Randy Rodgers Band mother ask me to go to the concert. I sure had lots of fun. It was so great to see Julie.
She looks so good.I got you a tee shirt for your birthday that you get to see when you get home.
I showed the babysitting
children your picture. Now every person in a uniform is you. You and your fellow soldier's are always in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for what you do.
Susan

To
all the men on this special day,
Today is a day that we celebrate
and honor you as a veteran. It is a time for us to reflect on the many positive changes you have made in the world and a time
for you to reflect on your own accomplishments.
Many people will never understand
what it feels like to serve in the military. It’s a personal sense of pride and accomplishment. It’s the lump
you get in your throat when you hear God Bless the USA and
the respect you feel when the national anthem is played. Treasure it and reflect upon it, you may not think so now, but you
are very lucky to know what that feels like.
You are very young men who
bear the burden that most of will never bear in our whole life. Please know that our thanks are not limited to this day nor
are our thoughts or pride. We are very proud of you and thank you for your sacrifices.
Very respectfully and sincerely,
Nikese Swift (proud sister
of CPL Butcher)

Dear
Nathan,
Just a little note from
Grandpa and Grandma to let you know we are thinking of you and all of your buddies.
We are very proud of all of our servicemen fighting for what the USA
stands for--DEMOCRACY. Your are in our prayers daily and pray that God watches
over all of you and keeps you safe to return to your loved ones before too much time passes by. We think it is great how your Mom set up the website for you and your platoon but Mom's have a special
way of doing things for their kids. As you know Grandpa fought in WWII in the
Navy for all of us but as he told you before don't try to win the war single-handed.
Take care of each other and we all hope this will end sooner than later. We
love you and will write again.
Love and prayers,
Grandma and Grandpa

Nathan,
Hi Nathan, just wanted to
let you know we're thinking about you. We met your Mom & Dad this past year
and have really enjoyed their company. Talk about COOL
parents, you got em! We were really impressed with this website your Mom put
together, what a computer guru she is. Of course her love and concern for you
made it all come together so well. You're a handsome young man and we'll be praying
for your safe return to the good old USA. Gotta give your Dad a few kudos here...don't know if you know it, but that guy is a dancing machine. He's my favorite swing dance partner. We
can really cut a rug when we get out on that dance floor. And to boot, he has
a beautiful singing voice. Hope this doesn't embarass them too much. but thought
it would give you a little smile. Again, take care and we'll keep in touch.

Brian Reeves,
Hi Brian, noticed you have
twin baby girls, how wonderful. My niece had fraternal twins 3 yrs ago so I know
how busy you and your wife are. Our family didn't think we had twins in the family
until my niece got pregnant. My Mom started investigating and found out we have
33 sets of twins just on her side. Then my niece's husband found out they had
several sets of twins on his side. Needless to say, I guess they were destined
for those two little ones. Their names are Sara & Dylan, so cute and so much
energy. I love your girls names, Mia & Chloe, cute. Stay safe and we'll be praying for you.

Pvt. Brad "Griff" Griffith:
Hi from Aunt Laura and Uncle
Alvin. Grandpa forwarded this link, and since we don't have a mailing address,
this is the next best thing. We
think of you and your buddies often. We haven't sent many funny cards, because
there were only two in town, and you have them already. Small towns, which you
don't know about. Is one of your friends really from a town called Toad Hop?
We've had our first snowfall,
but it is melting. Today it is about 32 degrees here, bet you have it a bit warmer. Stay safe. Luv, LA
